Which cards we accept

All Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, issued by any bank, in any country. Card payments are processed for us by Komercijalna banka AD Skopje.

Where your card details go

They never reach us. When you pay, you are taken to a secure page operated by the bank, you enter your card details there, and you return to our site once the payment is authorised.

We never see, handle or store your card number, expiry date or security code. What we keep is the order itself and whether the bank approved it.

3-D Secure

Card payments are protected by 3-D Secure (Verified by Visa and Mastercard Identity Check). Depending on your bank you may be asked to confirm the payment in your banking app or with a one-time code.

What you are charged

• The price shown on the order summary. The bank charges it in Macedonian denars (MKD), and the denar amount is shown on the bank's page before you confirm.
• Delivery of the printed edition is free. There is no shipping charge.
• Nothing else. We add no surcharge for paying by card. The price is the same whichever card you use.

Your bank may convert the amount into your own currency at its own rate, and may charge you for that. That is between you and your bank; we do not receive any part of it.

When you are charged

Once, for the full amount, at the moment you pay. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges and no stored cards. Until you pay, nothing is made and nothing is charged.

The connection

The whole site is served over HTTPS with a valid certificate, so what you send us cannot be read on the way.

If something goes wrong with a payment

If the money left your account but you received no order confirmation, write to us with the date, the amount and the last four digits of your card. We will trace it with the bank and either complete the order or return the money.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the same card that paid, and cannot be sent anywhere else. Depending on your bank, the money usually appears within a few working days. What we refund, and when, is set out on the Refunds and corrections page.
